Characteristics [edit]

Absol is widely believed to exist based on the Barghest, a mythical nocturnal specter-hound that lives in the mountains.[commendation needed] Absol has white fur with a dark blue face, tail, and a scythe-similar growth on the right side of its head. There is a dark blue gemstone-like object on its forehead. Absol's shiny counterpart has a reddish colour in place of the blue. Despite its appearance, this scythe is very soft to the touch on. However, if Absol becomes tense or angry, its scythe lights up and becomes very sharp, though Absol does not utilise this to harm its instigator.

To predict a natural disaster, Absol uses its sharp senses to detect subtle changes in the sky and the land, and with its knowledge of natural balance, Absol can predict oncoming natural disasters, later which it goes to nearby homo settlements to warn the people. Absol's cry sounds like a warning siren.
